DEBBIE STIRSMAN, RYT

Debbie is the owner /director of Inner Dance Yoga Center and is a registered teacher with the National Yoga Alliance. Always fascinated by the body/mind connection, Debbie has spent most of her life exploring movement and the bio-mechanics of the body. After 25 years of performing, teaching, choreographing, and directing her own dance company, she made a shift toward the healing path of yoga. This transition led to the inspiring discovery of Anusara yoga, as taught by John Friend. Now a dedicated student of Anusara, it is with heartfelt gratitude that she thanks all of her teachers and with joy shares the practice with others. Her classes are based on integrating alignment and intuition, strength and fluidity, and meditation and motion.

LINDA FOLMER, RYT

Linda is a Certified Yoga Instructor through Yoga Alliance, and teaches a gentle Kripalu Style of Yoga. She is also a Reiki Master, Healing Touch Practitioner, and Certified Transformation Meditation Teacher.
As a Healer, Linda is very intuitive at the emotional level, and has the gift of praying with clients, students, and others upon request. She has an extensive background in and love for music and enjoys bringing this experience to her students through chant & drumming.



CHRIS ROMER, RYT

Chris Romer began her love of movement with the study of ballet which evolved into athletics. She achieved a Personal Training Certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE), and Group Fitness certifications from ACE and AFAA. “Dance fitness was exciting and fun, but eventually difficult for my joints to tolerate,” Chris said. Then she discovered yoga. For Chris, yoga is much more than physical fitness. “Yoga is a lifestyle. It is a constant discovery of balance and peace in my life.” Chris earned a 500-hour Iyengar style Yoga Certification from the Southern Institute of Yoga Instructors. She has studied with Erich Shiffman, Rodney Yee, Roger Cole and Patricia Sullivan. Chris holds a degree in Journalism from the Ohio State University. She and her husband, Denny, have been married for 30 years and have a daughter and son. The family has just moved here from San Antonio, Texas.

SHARI BOWMAN, RYT

Shari Bowman is a Registered Yoga Instructor, teaching in the Dayton area for over 8 years. Shari has studied extensively with John Friend, and Sianna Sherman, studying both Asana and Yoga Therapeutics. Most recently Shari attended a workshop with Judith Lassiter that focused on the Anatomy and Kinesiology of Yoga postures. Shari has also studied with many well known teachers, including: Shiva Rea, Baron Baptiste, Rodney Yee, Doug Swenson, and Cindi Lee from Om Yoga Studio. She is the only certified Yoga for Golfers instructor in Ohio.
Shari brings an athletic spin to her Yoga practice, incorporating core and strength training into a heart inspiring class. Each class is designed to challenge the body, open the heart, and inspire evolution.

MELEAH WILLIAMS, RYT

Meleah began practicing yoga in 2004 after making the decision to lead a more active, healthy lifestyle. After 4 years as a student, Meleah decided step off the mat in order to share her passion for yoga with others since it had transformed her life in countless ways. Meleah believes that a yoga practice should be challenging and lots of fun, and that it is “a yoga practice – not a yoga perfect.” Meleah completed her teacher training through YogaFit Training System, and is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance.

BECKY KREBS, RYT

Becky has taught yoga classes in Yellow Springs, Columbus, and Dayton for the last 5 years. Becky has  studied with a number of inspirational yoga teachers, anatomists, and spiritual scholars; she considers the work of Angela Farmer and Linda Oshins of Yoga on High as very influential: “their work inspired me to merge with yoga in an ancient, familiar way that I had hoped was possible, and then was thrilled to find I could make it so!”. Becky’s enthusiasm for spiritual seeking and for her work as a mental health therapist weaves a sense of hope, healing, and insightful understanding of personal evolution into her Yoga teaching.
