Most of our classes are taught in a vinyasa (flowing) style. Modifications and developmental steps for all asanas (postures) will be given so that you can enjoy working at your own pace.
Our highly trained instructors offer students a safe and gentle approach to their practice and are respectful of each students needs and limitations.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Restorative Yoga emphasizes restful poses in which the body is supported with a variety of props. Restorative yoga is for all levels and is the ideal way to achieve deep relaxation and restore depleted energy.

 Beginner Basics Series a four week series of classes that are perfect for beginners or continuing students who want to learn proper alignment in postures and develop breath awareness. Yoga basics are taught to establish a foundation of safety in your practice.

Level 1/Gentle an ideal class for beginners as well as experienced students who happen to like a gentler, more slower pace.

Level 1 an active class promoting mind, body and spirit integration through asanas (postures), vinyasa (flow), pranayama (focused breathing) and deep relaxation.

Level 1-2 a mixed level class that continues to build stamina, strength, flexibility and concentration.

Level 2 a dynamic class introducing more advanced asana (postures) as well as extended vinyasa (flowing) sequences with a focus on alignment.

Level 2-3 an intermediate class that builds heat, endurance, flexibility and strength in more challenging backbends, inversions and arm balances. Students are expected to have a good understanding of the principles of alignment.

Prenatal Yoga a class specifically designed for the journey of pregnancy which will help strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, aid in digestion, improve circulation, exercise the spine and increase overall comfort.

Mommy and Me Good Morning World and Ready for Sleep bring a blanket and your little yogi (ages 5 mos to 36 mos) in their PJs, either getting ready to go to bed or just waking up!  We’ll warm up with core strengthening while playing with our little ones then everyone tones and stretches with age appropriate movements before ramping down with gentle flow sure to connect and relax. 

Core Yoga an all levels class which will explore the way the core works and build on the dynamic action of the core muscles to create stability, strength and tone.

Yoga for Strength is an all levels class that uses poses to help build strength and muscle tone using your own body weight, and occasionally hand weights. Balancing poses are incorporated to help build core stability. This class allows for longer held poses to help build strength, stamina, and proper body alignment. The sequencing of more challenging poses is countered with more relaxing stretches to create a well- balanced class. The results from this class will be felt after just one attendance.

Toddler/Preschool Yoga builds on children’s natural born ability to do yoga, class follows yoga basics in a fun and light-hearted way. Kids and parents alike will enjoy stretching, opening the breath through song and sound, practicing playful poses and winding down with some calming, resting poses. Suggested age is 2 1/2 to 5 years.
